Deze situatie kennen ze bij Telenet zelf ook wel denk ik : gisteren tf gekregen van telenet. Omdat ik trouwe klant ben(gewoon kabel) kan ik nu een “gereviseerde digicorder” (weet niet of het een HD is) kopen voor 1 symbolische Euro.
Verdere uitleg overbodig zeker

net digicorder opgeschroefd na problemen. Is buiten omruilgarantie en telenet service center kan enkel nieuwe HD verhuren als oplossing EN zal geen 50€ aansluitingskost aanrekenen als ik de oude digicorder binnenbreng.
Na openschroeven niet direct bolle of lekkende condensatoren gevonden.
De LED van de voeding knippert als ie in de digicorder steekt en blijft branden als de kabel niet inzit. Met de kabel in geeft de digicorder geen kick.
Is het nu de moeite die condensatoren sowieso te vervangen of is er mogelijkse andere oorzaak?
Onlangs nog Nintendo van dochters hersteld dus solderen is geen probleem voor me.

Bedankt Peter !

na lange tijd probs met de digicorder, en bij Telenet van ‘t kastje naar de muur (lees: u zult een nieuwe HD recorder moeten kopen/huren) gestuurd, heb ik je tips gevolgd.

Bij het opengooien van die handel (de garantie was toch juist verlopen) was ook duidelijk te zien dat de IDE-kabel van de harddisk los zat… problem solved !

I’m in the process of making a cajon, and I added Guitar knobs. I thought it would be a nice touch to be able to tighten and losen the strings. And I had a qustion, do the strings need to be in the corners of the tapa?

Bedankt! Ik had gelijkaardige problemen. Digicorder herstartte steeds meer en meer. De laatste tijd elke keer je hem aanzette (uit standby), eerst een herstart. Opnames die er maar een stukje opstonden door random herstart.
Uiteindelijk kwam hij helemaal niet meer op. Geen enkele lichtje meer.

Ik heb de 7 condensatoren vervangen. Ongeveer de helft stond bol. Ik heb de nieuwe elco’s op de pinnen van de oude gesoldeerd.
Dit gaf nog niet veel resultaat. Geen lichtjes, enkele ventilator draaide. HD ook zelfs niet.

Uiteindelijk bleek dat ook mijn voeding niet meer 100% werktte.
Deze hebben ze gratis vervangen en nu is mijn digicorder terug operationeel.
Na 2 dagen nog geen enkele herstart gemerkt.

TIP: Slechte voeding kan ook problemen geven. Hier heb wel je levenslange garantie op, gewoon omruilen!

7 condensatoren vervangen door 470 MF - 35 V - 120 graden (samen 2.35 euro), een dik half uur werk en alles werkt terug picobelleo !!!
Peter, wreed wel bedankt.
Vanavond eens proberen voor een HD van 500 MB

Gave a go at this the last couple days…made two of them. The first is about 1 and a half times the size of the one in this plan. (I had some left over wood from another project that was already cut and more or less just had to do the gluing.)
The second is as to plan here.
For the “drum head” I used some paneling that was also left over which is really pretty inexpensive stuff and seems to be working quite well. For the box I used the same material as in the plan above.
Couple of lessons learned:
For the internal frame that holds the guitar strings I only ran the side (vertical) boards…didn’t bother framing top and bottom as I wanted to maximize vibration space for the drum head.
I used a pine 1X2 (soft wood) in the first drum but I used some left over hard wood flooring cut down to size in the second. The strings definitely sound better against the hard wood…less sound dampening.
Also on the second drum I used a pair of needle nose pliers to crank more tension on the strings before pining them in the hole.
This REALLY crisped up the snare sound.
( as is hinted at above you want to run you snare wires across the face of the drum…as in the picture looking through the hole…not just in the corners…as in the illustrated detail)
In addition to all that…I forgot to pick up a wood dowel to pin the strings…was halfway home from the store when I realized it. My solution was to drill a small enough hole that I was able to use a golf tee to lock the strings in the sound board!
If you’re thinking of trying to build one of these you really can’t go wrong with this plan!

Heb in deze digicorder al negen nieuwe condensators gestoken en nieuw harde schijf, en dat prutsding van nen telenet digibrol werkt nog niet naar behoren. Dat heb je hé met dienen Russische brol! Dju toch!
Wie kan mij de laaste hoop nog geven voor ik de plaats aan de TV ruil voor het containerpark !
P.S. Condensators waren op het zicht nog niet bol en lekte niet.
Daarentegen draaide de harde schijf niet meer, deze vervangen door ongeveer hetzelfde type volgens specialisten in de PCwinkel en nu draait deze wel.

The connection between the ‘outlet’ of the oven and the pipes is made using bricks and two pieces of zinc. The piece laying on top of the oven is covered by the second piece. The space between the pieces is filled with mortar. It doesn’t look very pretty but it work perfectly. It’s like a puzzle, try until it fits

I don’t have other pictures than the ones in the post above. Since the connection is surrounded by the wall the oven mouth was build through it’s not possible to make more pictures.
